<a name="1206224"> </a><font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">For chips with an EMI4 part, bits 0 to 15 of the SDRAM mode register are used for one SDRAM bank or for bank 0 when two SDRAM banks are used. Bits 16 to 31 are used for SDRAM in the higher bank when two SDRAM banks are used. The correct positioning of data is handled by <strong>stemi</strong>, so the user needs only to enter the valid data for the currently selected bank. It is not possible to set bits 0 to 31 with one use of this option. This option should only be used when the selected bank type is "<font size=2 face=Courier><strong>SDRAM</strong></font>", otherwise an error will be reported.</font>

<a name="1206225"> </a><font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">For chips with EMI3, the <font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>sdrammodereg</b></font> option causes <strong>stemi</strong> to place the entered data in either the <span class=Signal>SDRAMModeReg0</span> or <span class=Signal>SDRAMModeReg1</span> locations depending on the selected bank and number of SDRAM banks selected. <span class=Signal>SDRAMModeReg0</span> is used in the case of one SDRAM bank in the device and when bank0 is selected when there are two SDRAMs. <span class=Signal>SDRAMModeReg1</span> is used when bank1 is selected when two SDRAM banks exist in the device.</font>
