<a name="1143856"> </a><font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The <strong>Window</strong> menu is used to select the active window to be displayed in the <strong>Editor</strong> window. The menu contains the following items:

<a name="1143866"> </a><font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>New Window</strong> allows the user to open another window in the <strong>Editor</strong> window with the same source file as the active window (it duplicates the active source file window).</font>
</p>
<p>
<a name="1143867"> </a><font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Split</strong> introduces a cross-line graticule which is positioned by the mouse to form either four sections, two vertical sections or two horizontal sections. A left mouse click fixes the selection and identical text is displayed in each section. Provided write permission is available (debugger not running), the <strong>Edit</strong> menu <strong>Cut</strong>, <strong>Copy</strong> and <strong>Paste</strong> functions can be used to edit the file. Once selected, the graticule positions can be further moved using the mouse. To exit the Split mode, drag the displayed graticule from the screen.</font>

<a name="1143868"> </a><font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Docking View</strong> either docks the window into the main ST Visual Develop window or allows it to float free.</font>
</p>

<a name="1143869"> </a><font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Close</strong> allows the user to close the active window in the <strong>Editor</strong> window.</font>
</p>

<a name="1143870"> </a><font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Close All</strong> allows the user to close all the active windows in the <strong>Editor</strong> window.</font>

<a name="1143871"> </a><font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Next</strong> allows the user to activate the next window in the <strong>Editor</strong> window.</font>
