<a name="1209506"> </a><font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The <strong>Memory</strong> window can be used to view an area of memory. The user is able to:</font>
</p>
<ul>
<p> <font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><li ><a name="1209624"> </a>browse the memory,</font></p>
<p> <font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><li ><a name="1209630"> </a>select the size of the area to display,</font></p>
<p> <font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><li ><a name="1209470"> </a>set the number of columns to be displayed.</font></p>
</ul>

<a name="1209619"> </a><font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">By default, the <strong>Memory</strong> window contains two columns, <strong>Address</strong> is the starting address of the block of memory and <strong>Value</strong> is the contents of the memory location.</font>
</p>

<a name="1209504"> </a><font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Enter the starting address or symbol into the <strong>Display</strong> field at the top of the window and press <strong>Return</strong> on the keyboard to display the memory locations starting at that address. An error message appears if the address is not valid.</font>

<a name="1209772"> </a><font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">An address or a variable can be dragged from the <strong>Editor</strong>, <strong>Watchpoints</strong> or <strong>Disassembly</strong> window to the <strong>Memory</strong> window. Memory is then displayed from this address for the selected range.</font>

<a name="1209780"> </a><font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Up to ten <strong>Memory</strong> windows can be displayed at the same time, allowing several areas of memory to be browsed simultaneously.</font>

<a name="1209783"> </a><font size=2 face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">To open a <strong>Memory</strong> window, either:</font>

in the <strong>Debug Windows</strong> menu, or </font></p>
