To support device initialization that may require peeks as well as pokes, such as SDRAM, a user-supplied function may be called prior to these pokes, and a second user-supplied function may be called after these pokes. These functions are defined as follows and are linked in via an object file built from a user-supplied source file called <font size=2 face=Courier><strong>initfuncs.c</strong></font> which includes the header file <font size=2 face=Courier><strong>initfuncs.h</strong></font>:</font>
