These files, called address header files, declare address variables as <font size=2 face=Courier><strong>extern</strong></font>, so the variables may be used in the same way as any other variable, and they are only instantiated if they are used. The address header files may be used by adding an appropriate <font size=2 face=Courier><strong>#include</strong></font> directive to any C file, for example:</font>
