  <a name="1204995"> </a><font size=2  face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">This removes the task from the list of known tasks and allows its stack and data structures to be reused.</font>

  <a name="1204996"> </a><font size=2  face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">If the task was created using <font size=2 face=Courier><strong>task_create</strong></font> then <font size=2 face=Courier><strong>task_delete</strong></font> calls <font size=2 face=Courier><strong>memory_deallocate</strong></font> in order to free the task's state (both static <font size=2 face=Courier><strong>task_t</strong></font> and dynamic <font size=2 face=Courier><strong>tdesc_t</strong></font>) and the task's stack.</font>
