  <a name="1204527"> </a><font size=2  face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">OS20 has been designed not to require any dynamic memory allocation itself. This allows the construction of deterministic systems, or for the user to take over all memory allocation.</font>

  <a name="1204528"> </a><font size=2  face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">However, for convenience, all of the object initialization functions (for example, <font size=2 face=Courier><strong>task_init</strong></font>, <font size=2 face=Courier><strong>semaphore_init_fifo</strong></font>) are also available with a creation style of interface (for example, <font size=2 face=Courier><strong>task_create</strong></font>, <font size=2 face=Courier><strong>semaphore_create_fifo</strong></font>), where OS20 performs the memory allocation for the object. In these cases OS20 uses two predefined partitions.</font>

Normally this is managed as a heap partition.</font></p>
<p>  <font size=2  face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><li ><a name="1204536"> </a>The <font size=2 face=Courier><strong>internal_partition</strong></font> is used just for the allocation of the dynamic part of a task's data structure by <font size=2 face=Courier><strong>task_create</strong></font>.
