SSx - calculates SS(x) = (sum_x2 - ((sum_x * sum_x)/count)) SSxy - calculates   SS(xy) = (sum_xy - ((sum_x*sum_y)/count)) xkthi - return the kth largest element of an integer signal         with only partial sorting. xkthf - return the kth largest element of an integer signal         with only partial sorting.
