takes an array of bytes and inverts them using a lookup table. invert = reverse bits within a byte remove_from_list - removes an integer from the given list by shifting down all integers following the point of removal. remove_item - removes corresponding items from three lists of integers by shifting down all subsequent integers in the lists. max_2d_addr - locates the maximum integer in a 2d matrix of specified dimensions. maxpv - returns the first position and value of maximum in a vector of floats. datadup - mallocs new space and copies supplied data into it, see also ../image/imageops.c imagedup malloc_char - allocates (malloc) a char of specified size n malloc_uchar - reallocates a set of int pointers to new number n realloc_dbl_flt_l1 - reallocates a set of float pointers to new number n minv - dap style function to return minimum value of a vector of floats. minp - returns the position of the first minimum value in a vector of floats. minl - returns a vector of characters equal to 1 in those locations where the given vector of floats is minimum. minpv - returns the first position and value of minimum in a vector of floats. minv_feats - returns the column vector of minimums extracted along the rows of a 2-D column major array. multisort_INDEX - recursive multiple-index QuickSort utility accessed through the Macro library in indexstruct.h . compute_mxs_mys - computes the geometric centers of boxes given a list of box x, y, w, and h. nearest_nbor - returns the location of the point from a list of points that is closest to another specified point and returns the closest distance. find_closest_pts - locates the closest pair of points between two specified lists of points. malloc_points - allocates a list of points. add_point - appends a specified point to the end of the list. fill_points_down - appends points to list filling a range of y-values downwards with same x-value. fill_points_up - appends points to list filling a range of y-values upwards with same x-value. nearestpoint - given a point determines which point in a specified list is closest. to_rel_polar2 - converts a list of cartesian points indirectly referenced through an index list to polar coordinates relative to a specified center point. is_in_range - determines if an integer is within the specified range. f_is_in_range - determines if a float is within the specified range. is_within_tolerance - verifies that two floats are within a specified distance from each other. ramp_int_runs - takes a list of integers, thresholds them into binary values and assigns incrementally accumulated run length vales into a new list. three_smooth - smooths the integers in an array using a three-point Gausing function. sort_index_dec_on_int - sorts an integer list into descending order. sort_index_on_int - sorts an integer list into ascending order. sort_index_on_int_2id - sorts two integer lists the first in ascending the second in descending order using the first list as a primary key and the second list as a secondary key. sort_index_on_int_2ii - sort a double ranked list of integers in ascending order returning the sorted order of the ranked pairs. strippath - takes a full pathname and returns a pointer to the information to the right of the rightmost directory level. substring - determines if the first string is a substring of the the second provided string. syserr - exits on error with a status of -1, printing to stderr a caller-defined message and the system call error associated with errno. ticks - returns the number of clock cycles (ticks) used by a process. ticksPerSec - returns the system definition for HZ, where 1/HZ seconds is a tick (HZ = 60). current_time - returns a string containing the current date on the system. too_big -
