This is an updated version of the source code for Massimo Daniele
Sapienza's essay, "An Experimental Approach to the Study of Banking
Intermediation: The BankNet Simulatior".  That is published as Chapter
6 (pp. 159-179) in Francesco Luna and Benedikt Stefansson (eds.),
Economic Simulations in Swarm: Agent-Based Modeing and Object Oriented
Programming.  Boston: Kluwer Academic Publishers, 2000.


I do not believe I have made any substantive changes in the
model/code. I have only updated/fixed it to run with the Swarm
Toolkit, versions 2.1.x.  If you find further updates, feel free to
send me a patch.
