Use MPI_Type_create_hvector instead. .spThis deprecated routine is not available in C++. .spThe function MPI_Type_hvector is identical to MPI_Type_vector, except thatstride is given in bytes, rather than in elements. The use for both typesof vector constructors is illustrated in the examples in Section 3.12.7 of the MPI-1 Standard. .spAssume that oldtype has type map.sp.nf {(type(0), disp(0)), ..., (type(n-1), disp(n-1))}.fi.spwith extent ex. Let bl be the blocklength. C++ functions do not return errors. If the default error handler is set to MPI::ERRORS_THROW_EXCEPTIONS, then on error the C++ exception mechanism will be used to throw an MPI:Exception object..spBefore the error value is returned, the current MPI error handler iscalled. By default, this error handler aborts the MPI job, except for I/O function errors. The error handler may be changed with MPI_Comm_set_errhandler; the predefined error handler MPI_ERRORS_RETURN may be used to cause error values to be returned. Note that MPI does not guarantee that an MPI program can continue past an error. .SH SEE ALSO.ft R.spMPI_Type_create_hvector.brMPI_Type_vector.br' @(#)MPI_Type_hvector.3 1.22 06/03/09
