This directory and its subdirectories contains code to compute synthetic 
seismograms using reflectivity methods.

The codes were written by Dennis Corrigan and others at ARCO and are being
distributed for research purposes only. The codes are being distributed 
under the freeUSP agreement (although they are not usp codes) and are 
therefore distributed as is without any guarantee, explicit or implied. 

There are a few missing subroutines that mostly have to do with simple 
vector manipulation but should be fairly easy to recode. Check with 
the mathadvantage libraries distributed with freeUSP as some of these 
subroutines may be included here.

The reflectivity codes include:

acoustic: For the problem of a layered acoustic half space

isopsv: For the problem of a surface source on an elastic layered
	half space

isosh: For the problem of an SH line source in an elastic layered 
	half space

isow:  For the problem of a water layer over a layered elastic 
	half space

timw:  For the problem of a water layer over a layered transversly 
	isotropic elastic half space.
