      Subsystem <i>Accel</i>
    </h2>
    <p><i>Accel</i> computes the specific
    forces and accelerations of the aircraft, as measured in the aircraft&#39;s
    centre of gravity. The block <i>Accel</i> is contained in the subsystem
    <i><a href="moreouts.htm">Additional Outputs</a></i> of the system <i><a
    href="beaver.htm">Beaver</a></i>. The outputs from <i>Accel</i> are not
    needed to solve the state equations. Hence, <i>Accel</i> can be removed
    from the system <i>Beaver</i> without affecting the solution of the state
    equations. </p>

      Parameters to be defined in the Matlab workspace
    </h3>
    <ul>

        <p><i>GM1</i>: vector with some important geometrical properties of the
        &#39;Beaver&#39; aircraft, and the mass of the aircraft (which is
        assumed to be constant during the motions of interest). Here, the mass
        <i>m</i> is extracted from the vector <i>GM1</i>. The vector <i>GM1</i>
        can be loaded from file by calling <i><a href=
        "datload.htm">DATLOAD</a></i>. If the datafile does not yet exist, run
        <i><a href="modbuild.htm">MODBUILD</a></i> first.</p>
