<li>Singaporeans may apply for library membership using the online
' Apply for Membership form'
<li>Those who opt to use their NRIC as their membership card, must
visit the selected branch library to activate it.
<li>Permanent residents and foreigners will not be able to use this
online form. They will have to apply personally at a branch library.

<p>You have to be a library member before you can apply for the Premium
Service. Note that Video-Lending members are automatically converted
to Premium Service members.
