Import

	The Import item of the File menu allows the user to open image 
files with formats other than Nanoscope III. The current choices are:

		TIFF 		- the Tagged Image File Format
		GIF 		- the Graphics Interchange Format
		MATLAB 		- an image stored as a MATLAB matrix
		BMAP 		- an MS Windows file format
		PCX 		- ZSoft Paint format
		SPIDER		- a popular EM image analysis program format
		Nanoscope II 	- images stroed in the older Nanoscope II format
