我的意见是两个名词内容是一样的，但是所属的领域不同，所以提法和处理方法略有
不同，time series 以ARMA模型为基础来处理，而temporal data是要建立在数据库
基础上利用挖掘的方法来处理。
连续和离散不是他们的区别。
sequence，没有碰到过，不知道是不是series的同义词。

In the context of temporal database (or spatial-temporal, bi-temporal),
temporal data usually implies each tuple has at least one of the following 
attributes: transaction time and valid time. They are, however, hardly related
to DM context.
