SIGKDD on data mining, while SIGMOD is on database (all areas).

SIGMOD and VLDB are the two top conf in db field.

Not sure about SIGKDD, but it seems its quality is not assured.

From another aspect, SIGMOD requires 12 pages while SIGKDD 6 pages (correct me
if I am wrong)/.
