?Some SAS data set files that were not created on the Windows platform may not
 operate correctly with IML Workshop. This limitation will be lifted by a futu
re version of IML Workshop.

?IML Workshop 1.0 only supports running IML Workshop and the SAS server on the
 same Windows computer. Thus, statements in this documentation to "the client"
 and "the SAS server" actually refer to the same computer. Later versions of I
ML Workshop will support remote SAS server execution.

?IML Workshop's graphics only support wide patterned (non-solid) lines on Wind
ows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. Windows 95/98/Me do not support wide
 patterned lines. A wide line is a line whose width is greater than one pixel.


?If you are using Windows NT 4.0, you may encounter a problem starting IML Wor
kshop by double-clicking a .iml or .imx file in the Windows Explorer. If you e
ncounter this problem, the solution is to simply double-click the file a secon
d time. IML Workshop, which will already be running but hidden, will immediate
ly appear with the file open.

?IML Workshop installs a private copy of the Java Runtime Environment 1.3 by S
un Microsystems. IML Workshop uses this Java virtual machine to execute the po
rtion of IML Workshop that is implemented in Java as well as to execute user-d
efined Java classes. The Java Runtime Environment is installed in the JRE subd
irectory of IML Workshop's System directory.
