Web-applications area Miner3D.com announces version 2.0 of its Miner3D SITE s
oftware for 
building Internet navigational systems, hierarchical sitemaps, corporate 
portals and web-based information retrieval systems. The new software brings 
significant enhancements to the web browser's set of features and makes its user

More and more technology analysts and prime research companies accent

few years the web browser has become standard part of the operating system

the browser was originally designed for displaying formatted texts and

Built on standard Internet and graphics technologies makes the integration
and deployment in current environments easy and fast. Miner3D 
communicates with Web servers using XML language, while there is also an opti
on to
extract information directly from pure HTML Web pages. Well-designed 
XML syntax allows description of complex information structures on small 
pages of 25KB or even less. It saves the network bandwidth and enables very 
fast downloads when even the footprint of Miner3D Viewer is excellent too - 
only 85KB!

The software is completely server platform independent and capable to
communicate with any XML-aware web server, Miner3D Viewer, the client, 
is currently available only for Internet Explorer 4.0 and above. The 
Netscape version will be released in November 2001, the version for Apple Mac
computers will follow early next year. The design of the Viewer makes 
ports to new platforms easy and soon it will be released also to game 
consoles, selected mobile or online devices, handhelds, web pad devices and set 
top boxes.
