Car Evaluation Database was derived from a simple hierarchical decision mode
l originally developed for the demonstration of DEX (M. Bohanec, V. Rajkovic
: Expert system for decision making. Sistemica 1(1), pp. 145-157, 1990.)

arly useful for testing constructive induction and structure discovery metho

ence Survey. The samples are married women who were either not pregnant or d
o not know if they were at the time of interview. The problem is to predict 
the current contraceptive method choice (no use, long-term methods, or short
-term methods) of a woman based on her demographic and socio-economic charac
teristics.
