If there are runtime errors then:
copy these Modbus setup files to subdirectory:    /windows/system/


spc.ini



Make sure unprotect codes are entered in spc.ini
They can be entered by double clicking on spc.ini 
in the Windows\system\  sub-directory, text editing and saving

change spc.ini for AB or MB and enter unprotect codes
