In our performance checkoutof Resin 3.2.0 we were able to <a href="http://blog.caucho.com/?p=48">loadResin with 25,000 simultaneous clients</a>.</p></s1><s1 title="config getenv"><p>The configure can now use ${getenv['foo']} to get environment variables.</p></s1><s1 title="-Dcaucho.smallmem"><p>The -Dcaucho.smallmem command-line argument tells Resin to shrink itsbuffer sizes for a small-memory footprint. For example, the main internalbuffer size shrinks from 16k to 1k.</p></s1><s1 title="debian"><p>Resin Professional can now be installed as a Debian package. When it's false, users will see a generic error messagereporting the server and time, but no other information.</p></s1><s1 title="distribution changes"><p>The Resin jars have been combined to make embedding Resin easier, i.e.avoiding massive classpaths. You'll normally only need to add 3 jars toyour classpath to embed Resin.</p><ul><li>JavaEE jars have been combined into javaee-16.jar</li><li>Resin jars have been combined into resin.jar</li><li>Resin-Pro jars have been combined into pro.jar</li></ul><p>resin.xml is the new name for resin.conf. The old name will still work.The change to resin.xml will help editors and mail programs recognize the XMLsyntax of the resin.xml more easily.</p><p>The /resin-admin code has been moved into ${resin.root}/doc/admin.</p></s1><s1 title="dynamic servers"><p>Resin now has the capability to add servers to a cluster dynamically.Each cluster will have a core of static servers and a pool of dynamicservers.</p></s1><s1 title="eclipse"><p>The eclipse plugin has been updated and is now distributed withthe Resin maven repository.</p></s1><s1 title="ivy-loader"><p>Resin now includes an experimental <ivy-loader> that loads jarsdirectly from an ivy-repository.
