    - Toccy: notlstnr -> added saveNonceParam() function, CTP nonce is stored in b64.

2007-09-10
    - Magi:  modfication to upgrade procedure from 6.0.x version to 6.5.x version.
             Now the installer check if the version is older then 6.5.x using the swv property key.
             If older, the setup set a flag that is used by the plug-in to decide if to calculate the CRC
             in the old way to avoid a slow sync. Then the CRC is calculate in the new way.
             The setup also change the push value and the sms value according to the new askUser property.
             The version of the plug-in in the swv property is set by the installer using the 
             values in the release.properties that are
                - funambolsw.major
                - funambolsw.minor
                - funambolsw.buildnumber
             that may be different from the usual release numbers
             Remeber to set up before create the installer

    - Toccy: notlstnr -> added cmdTimeoutWorker thread to check if a response arrived in ctpCmdTimeout seconds. 
             If not, the CTP connection will be pulled down so that ctpThread will restore the whole CTP connection.
             Added 'ctpState' = the state of CTP connection inside CTPManager.
             Removed DebugPrint and logutils.cpp, now using LOG.
             setup -> added updateNewRegistry() to rewrite the entries that we want to change during update.

    - Toccy: Support of queued sync: notifications received while sync is running 
             will not be lost, a new sync will be started at the end of the process.
             Removed 'ctpNonce' member: it's the same nonce of synchronization, 
             so the nonce is get/set from 'accessConfig::serverNonce'

    - Toccy:support for CTP: added CTPManager class and threads to manage CTP and STP connections.
            When starting notifications, first try to use STP - if it fails, we
            use CTP. CTP main thread is 'ctpWorker'.

    - Magi: to improve the sync of contacts only it is inserted a <map> to record
            the current situation. 
            The add, modification, delete of items from the server are stored in the
            map and at the end all the map is written on the contact.dat
            The caledar and task are not evaulated in this way. They will become so
            when the WinCalendar and WinTask will be used properly.
            
            Added classes for CTP handling.

    - Teo:  New localization system
            now there is a singleton called localizationUtils that create the 
            resource HINSTANCE for the language localization dll.

            In the UI there's no more String table and Menu... All the 
            localization parts of the UI are now under the new language dll

            under the Program Files Funambol directory there is a new dll 
            called language-XX.dll where the XX are 2 or 3 chars corrisponding 
            to the language code

            the default language dll is language-en.dll

            the singleton returns in all the UI the HINSTANCE for the 
            LoadLibrary method and for the load of the Menues.

            there are also a method that returns a wchar_t* of the string 
            present in the String table in the Language dll corrisponding to 
            a UINT passed as param, and a method that creates automatically a 
            message box with a string corrisponding to the UINT passed as param.

    - Teo:  Added localization support and the first language.dll (in italian)
            that will be under /%installdir%/Funambol/it
            language.dll is under development and not in the build.

            Setup automatically starts the application

            The credentals are asked to the user immediately after the startup
            if not set yet.

    - Magi: Modified the way to handle the contact to get all the properties.
            It is base on the IPOutlookApp2 interface.
            It uses the WinContact and WinContactSif api classes.
            The "isSif" variable is set by the syncItem mimeType. 
            
    - Teo:  All the sync is started by startProgram instead of startcmd to get
            the right path.

    - Magi: refactoring of the startsync process and all related stuff.
            Based on Teo's modification.

    - Teo: changed startsync: now if there's a sync with the email source
	   enabled startsync pass through MailSyncMessages.
	   There's also a popup in the email UI that ask if the user want to
	   add the email source if it's disabled.
	   Finally in the UI the GUI is locked if the startsync is started
	   also if it's started not from the UI.

        the package for the pocket pc. No modification done for the smartphone.

    - Removed Funambol vawe sound for the notification of new mail, both on ppc and
        smartphone, 2003 and 5.0. 
        For WM 5.0 Used the default one. This is valid only for the notification
        via tcp/ip and using send/receive.
        No sound if using our plug-in or sms.       
        
    Bug fixing: 
       - fixed some crash if a email message cannot be sent succesfully       
       - more input validation
       - improved funambol ico
       
Known Issue.
-------------
- After the uninstall of the Funambol client, it could remain a default windows icon in the upper bar.
  Workaround. restart the device.
- Pulling off the battery the mail account and its email can be deleted. It seems to be the behavior of the devices / WM5.0.  
  Keeps the email in the RAM for some time before it is moved to the Persistent Store / Memory.  
  When in RAM, if pull out batter or reset device, the email is lost.
  Workaround: keep the mail for a long time before pull out the battery. Check the
              device is turned off before pull out the battery
- On some devices (Qtek 9100, Qtek 8310) the manual delation of the email 
  Funambol account can create a freeze of the device. 
  Workaround: restart the device
