uPSD34xx Disk driver

If an RLINK-ST is available, it can be used along with PSDsoft to program the USB R/W disc example run-time object file into the DK3420.  The instructions and the object file are contained in the OBJ_files folder.

To use the evaluation version of uVision along with ULINK to program the USB R/W disc example program into the uPSD34xx on the DK3420, follow the instructions outlined below.  

Note: The original DK3420 disk content will not be restored, but a folder called Disk_content contains the original content.  After the DK3420 has been programmed and is recognized by the host PC as a flash disk, the contents from the Disk_content folder can be copied to the DK3420.

1. Plug the DK3420 into a USB port to power the board. 

2. Launch uVision.

3. Open up the uVision project (uPSD34xx_USB_R-W_demo.uv2) found in the Code folder.  DO NOT rebuild the project since the example is larger than the 2KB limit of the evaluation version, doing so will result in the hex file being deleted and the load operation will not work.  

4. Click on the Load icon and that will program the OBJ file (the one contained in the PSDsoft project folder called PSDsoft) into the uPSD34xx on the DK3420.

The DK3420 will now function as a USB R/W disc.
