AD9866 Evaluation Board Rev. A Settings:
Place a 25 MHz oscillator in socket U4. This clocks
the ADC, DAC and Blackfin PPI.
Supply an analog signal to the ADC via the J4 RXIN SMA connector.
The DAC on the AD9866 is designed to handle broadband communications data.
Therefore, when testing the interface, it is best to use analog input
signals with frequency content of 200 kHz and above.
The J5 SMA connector is an analog output from the DAC that can be routed to an
oscilloscope to view the DAC output signal.
The TX port on the AD9866 should be connected to the J3 (HSC interface to ADC) header on the extender card upside-down.
Hence, with the right connection in place, the top of the AD9866 board should face in the same direction as the back of
the extender card.
A short RJ45 cable should be used to connect the SPI ports on the AD9866 board and the extender card.

Note:
Finally, on revision A of the AD9866 board, there is the possibility ofunwanted contention on the DSP_RXEN pin.
If you are using this board revision , you should cut the trace connecting DSP_RXEN on J9 to resistor bank RP13.
Subsequently, you can use a short jumper cable to connect the DSP_RXEN pin to the center pin of JP93.
