This license statement and limited warranty constitutes a legal agreement ("License Agreement") between you ("Licensee", either as an individual or a single entity) and Jan Goyvaerts ("Licensor"), owner of the brand "JGsoft - Just Great Software", for the software product TPerlRegEx ("Software") of which Jan Goyvaerts is the copyright holder.  "Software" shall include source code, documentation, compiled binaries, and all other files supplied by Licensor related to TPerlRegEx.

BY INSTALLING, COPYING, OR OTHERWISE USING THE SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE LICENSE AGREEMENT.

Upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of the License Agreement, Licensor grants you the right to use the Software in the manner provided below.

If you do not accept the terms and conditions of the License Agreement, you must promptly delete each and any copy of the Software from your computer(s).

The Licensor reserves the right to license the same Software to other individuals or entities under a different license agreement.

The Licensee may use the Software as a component to develop a larger software product copyrighted by Licensee or Licensee's employer  ("Licensee's Application").  Licensee's Application must provide significant functionality beyond what is implemented using the Software, and must not serve the same purpose as or compete with the Software.

No payment is required for the use of the Software under this license agreement.

No technical support is available for the Software.

The Software is provided "as is". In no event shall the Licensor or any of his affiliates be liable for any consequential, special, incidental or indirect damages of any kind arising out of the delivery, performance or use of this Software, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.  While the Software has been developed with great care, it is not possible to warrant that the Software is error free.  The Software is not designed or intended to be used in any activity that may cause personal injury, death or any other severe damage or loss.

You may give copies of the Software to others on the strict condition that this is done by copying the original, unaltered Software archives as they can be downloaded from the public areas of the Web Site.  Public areas are those that can be accessed by anybody with an ordinary Internet connection, without the use of any password or key.  You must not charge any money for the Software itself or the act of copying the Software.  You may ask a reasonable fee for material and/or communication costs.

In addition, Licensee may distribute Licensee's Application in compiled form, with (parts of) the Software compiled into Licensee's Application's binaries.  Compiled form means that any recipient of Licensee's Application will not be able to extract the Software from Licensee's Application.

Licensee may also distribute Licensee's Application in source form, including programming statements that reference the Software, but not including parts of the Software itself.

The Licensor reserves the right to revoke your license if you violate any or all of the terms of this license agreement, without prior notice.

The Software's core regular expression support is provided by the PCRE library package, which is open source software, written by Philip Hazel, and copyright by the University of Cambridge, England.  PCRE may be obtained separately at http://www.pcre.org/  Per PCRE's license terms, Licensee is not required to license PCRE separately if Licensee does not use PCRE except as part of the Software.  PCRE has already been licensed by Licensor for use in the Software and for use in Licensee's Application.
