1. What is IceExt.exe? Where is my lovely driver?

  IceExt has been redesigned a bit. IceExt.exe is loader application.
  It contains IceExt.sys driver and can start and stop it without registering
  service object in the system. As a result, you should uninstall any 
  previously installed IceExt executables thus deregistering IceExt service.
  Now you cann't type "net start IceExt" to start IceExt service, as the 
  system (as well as some software protections) knows nothing about IceExt.
  Use IceExt loader application in the following way:

  Usage IceExt [-s|-e]
              -s - start IceExt service
              -e - stop IceExt service

2. Where is IceExt installer?

  New IceExt design allows to use IceExt without any installation. 
  Just unpack and run it! So, there is no need in installer.

3. Where can I download IceExt sources?

  IceExt is an open source software. It is distributed under 
  GNU Public License (GPL). You can download IceExt source code at the
  SourceForge server (http://sourceforge.net/projects/iceext/).

4. I found bug in IceExt, how do I report it?

  IceExt project at SourceForge has bug tracking system:
  (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=149807&atid=775873). 
  So, if you want your bug to be officially tracked, use it.
  You can also drop e-mail to IceExt developers mail list 
  [e-mail].

5. Why EXTINIT directive in winice.dat is no longer working?

  The EXTINIT processing code has some problems when IceExt.sys
  is started via IceExt.exe loader. Actually, this code crashes my 
  computer. :) So, this functionality is temporarily disabled. It may
  be rewritten and enabled back in the future.
