U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly said she will <b>release 
her ruling</b> on the proposed Microsoft antitrust settlement after 
the U.S. stock markets close this afternoon. Kollar-Kotelly 
indicated she would rule on two matters that have been proceeding 
on parallel tracks: whether to <b>approve a tentative deal</b> that 
Microsoft and the U.S. Justice Department inked last fall, and 
<b>which remedies are appropriate</b> in the separate case being pursued 
by state attorneys general. Microsoft has been taking steps over 
the last several months to comply with the terms of the settlement 
agreement, even before the judge has approved the terms. We will 
alert you when the judge's ruling is issued.

wireless</b> in your corporate network? The Wireless Fidelity Alliance 
is pushing for the Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) standard as a 
relacement for the existing Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP). WPA 
will <b>make unauthorized access more difficult</b> by generating new keys for every 
10K of data transmitted, which is more secure than WEP's weak 
fixed-key approach.
