<h1><a NAME="">Curriculum Vitae</a></h1>


I was born in Halle, Germany, on September 1, 1959. After finishing
the high school in Halle, I enrolled as student at the Mathematical
and Mechanical Faculty of the Moscow State University in 1978, in
Moscow. I received the diplom degreee in Mathematics in 1983. Since
1983 I'm working at the Weierstra\ss Institute of Applied Analysis and
Stochastics, the former Karl-Weierstra\ss-Institute for Mathematics of
the former GDR Academy of Science.

  <p>From 1986 to 1990 I was involved in the developement of the 2D
semiconductor technology simulator DIOS. Since 1991 I'm working in the
field of 3D mesh generation. In this period, I have developed the 3D
grid generation and geometry description package IBG.
