This happened in my senior middle school time. One day in June. The winds kiss the top of 
the trees. Our master teacher Mr. Tan took us to climb a hill in our town. 
Boys and girls followed Mr. Tan, talking and laughing. A moment later, we reached the foot 
of the hill. Taking up our head, we saw trees covered the hill and a tower stood on the top 
of the hill. So all of us couldn not wait to climb and reach the top to see the beautiful 
landscape.
First, we followed the steps and walked one step by one step. Some time later, we reached 
the waist of the hill. And then, there  were no more steps to walk. Instead, there was a 
path. We had no choice but to fellow it. At first, we had a little disappeared, because 
everything is common. Then, something hard hit us. The path divided into two. One was wide 
and flat, the other was narrow and steep. Which one to chose. Everyone hold their views. 
At last, Mr. Tan, some girls and I chose the wider one. The other boys chose the narrow one. 
We all thought that we made a bright choice. However, soon we realized we were wrong. The 
path became narrower and narrower. What is worse!At last, it disappeared. Walk back someone 
said. no, they must laugh at us! So Mr. Tan and I went first to force the way. We walked 
through the bush. At someplace, we pulled the girl who could not climb a stone at front,
others pushed at back. 
Thank goodness! We reached the top finally. To our surprise, the other boys had already 
arrived. They were playing, taking photos or drinking water. They looked at us with smile,
as if to say how wretched you were! 
     This story happened many years ago, but I still remember it. In our life, we will have 
to make many choices. As the old saying goes every road leads to Rome. However there are 
differences between the roads. Some roads are wide and flat, the distance to Rome is short, 
so take that way is easy to get to Rome. But the others maybe narrow and steep, even endless,
the time to reach it may not come in our life time! So, when we standing at the life crossing
,we must keep calm and quiet so that to chose the right way!
