<p><code>htdigest</code>建立和更新用于摘要认证的、存储用户名/域/密码的文本文件。服务器上的资源可以被限制为仅允许由<code>htdigest</code>建立的文件中的用户访问。</p>

<dd>建立<var>passwdfile</var> 。如果<var>passwdfile</var>已经存在，则会首先把它删除。</dd>
<dt><code><var>passwdfile</var></code></dt>
<dd>包含用户名/域/密码的文件名。若指定了 <code>-c</code> ，那么，如果该文件不存在则新建，否则先删除然后再新建。</dd>
<dt><code><var>realm</var></code></dt>
<dd>该用户名所属的域。</dd>
<dt><code><var>username</var></code></dt>
<dd>在<var>passwdfile</var>中所建立或更新的用户名。如果<var>username</var>不存在，则增加一项，否则改变其密码。</dd>
