<p>该模块只有在远程主机上运行了<a href="http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1413.txt">RFC 1413</a>兼容的守护进程的情况下才能查询连接者的身份。</p>

<p>当客户端运行了identd或类似程序时，此指令将决定是否为每个链接记录<a href="http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1413.txt">RFC 1413</a>兼容的远端用户名。这些信息将记入访问日志中(使用"<code>%l</code>"<a href="mod_log_config.html#formats">格式字符串</a>)。</p>
<div class="note">此信息除了用于基本的跟踪以外是不应该多加信任的。</div>
<p>因为对每个请求都会进行这样的查询，所以这样设置可能会使您的服务器访问出现严重的延迟。当涉及到防火墙或代理的时候，每次查询都会因为可能的失败而对每次点击增加<code class="directive"><a href="#identitychecktimeout">IdentityCheckTimeout</a></code>秒的延迟。所以一般来说对于公网上的服务器这个指令并不是很有用。</p>

<p>该指令设置了ident请求的超时时间。默认值"30"(秒)也是<a href="http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1413.txt">RFC 1413</a>的推荐值，这主要是考虑到可能的网络延时。当然，你也可以根据你自己的网络状况进行调整。</p>
