的活动</A></H2><P>上节主要讨论 LUG 能进行何种工作和应该进行何种工作。本节集中讨论以何种方式完成这些工作。<P>尽管形式不同，但地区性的 LUG 可以进行两种工作：第一种是会员在实际的会议场所举行会议；第二种是他们通过网际网路相互联系。几乎所有 LUG 能够进行的工作均可以会议和网上资源表示。<P><H2><A NAME="ss5.1">5.1 而言并无不同。多数 LUG 都有网页，有的LUG 甚至拥有整个网址。事实上，如果不到网上查找，还不知道怎样找到一个地区性的 LUG 呢。<P>因此，一个地区性的 LUG 充分利用能够掌握的网际网路技术是完全合情合理的事，不论是使用网址、电子邮件、WAIS、finger或新闻邮区等。正如商家发现的那样，网际网路也可作为推广、通知、教导和甚至推销的有效工具。LUG广泛利用网际网路技术的另一个原因正是
