Audio can be converted to PCM or MP3, or stored 'as is', in source format. <p>Program should work with .mp4 and .mov files with <b>MPEG-4 Advanced Simple Profile or MJPEG video</b>, and <b>AAC, u-Law or PCM</b> sound. <br><br><br><br> <a name="features"></a> <h2>Features:</h2> <p>MP4Cam2AVI works with both MPEG4 and MJPEG video content (MJPEG is video compression format is most photo cameras). <p><b>With MP4Cam2AVI, you can:</b> <p><b>1.</b> Convert & join many .mp4(.mov) files from your camera to one .avi (action: Many MP4(MOV) -> One AVI); <br><b>2.</b> Convert many .mp4(.mov) files to avi, each name.mp4 to name.avi (action: Many MP4(MOV) -> Many AVI); <br><b>3.</b> Change avi FourCC's (action: Many AVI -> Change FourCC); <p><b>For MPEG4 source video</b>, target .avi files can be played like standard DivX movies (with DivX codec), edited with any .avi editing software (i.e. <a href="http://www.virtualdub.org" target="_blank">VirtualDub</a>, Adobe Premiere, Pinnacle Studio etc.) or played with hardware DVD-MPEG4 players. <p><b>For MJPEG source video</b>, target files (MJPEG AVI) can be edited with any .avi editing apps (i.e. compressed to DivX with <a href="http://www.virtualdub.org" target="_blank">VirtualDub</a>). <p class=sm>Currently MP4Cam2AVI was tested with photo cameras: Kodak LS753, Minolta A2, Minolta Dimage Z3, Nikon Coolpix 5200, Nikon 8400, Nikon E8800, Panasonic FX7, Panasonic FZ-1, Pentax 750Z, Olympus C-5000/C-5050, Olympus mini digital, Pentax Optio X, Sanyo Xacti J1. <p><b>Advanced settings.</b> MP4Cam2AVI has <a href="#adv">additional audio proccessing options</a>: configurable lowpass filter (great for Sanyo Xacti Cx), audio track shift (for cameras with audio lag, i.e. Minolta A200), audio volume adjust, high quality 2x downsampling, mono output option (for Olympus C770 with mono internal mic). <p><b>Command-line mode.</b> From version 1.63, MP4Cam2AVI has <a href="guide.htm#cmd">command-line mode</a> (all options are configurable via command-line, see help for more details). <p><b>Supported file types / formats</b> <p><table border=0 cellspacing=1 cellpadding=0 bgcolor=#000000> <tr bgcolor=#FFFFFF> <td> <p><b>Input files:</b> <br>File type: *.MP4, *.MOV <br>Video: MPEG4 ASP, MJPEG <br>Audio: AAC, PCM, u-Law </td> <td> <p><b>Output files:</b> <br>File types: *.AVI <br>Video: Source video, (MPEG4 or MJPEG) <br>Audio: Source audio, PCM or MP3 </td> </tr> </table> <br><br><br><br> <a name="int"></a> <h2>Interface:</h2> <p><b>Main window:</b> <p><img src="main.png" border=0> <br><br> <table border=0 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0> <tr bgcolor=#F0F0F0> <td valign=top nowrap><p><b>'file prefix:'</b></td> <td><p>Use it for custom file re-order. When you push 'file prefix' button, selected files are renamed like VCLP****.MP4 -> NN_VCLP****.MP4, where NN - is prefix value (for example 01, 03, etc.). Files are sorted by name, so you can use prefixes to re-order files. <p>To remove existing prefixes, set prefix to '' and push 'file prefix:' button. </td> </tr> <tr> <td valign=top nowrap><p><b>'preview playlist'</b></td> <td><p>Generates .asx playlist from selected files and opens it in default player. Use for preview (you should have mp4-capable codec installed, like 3ivX or Nero Digital). <p>To change player, go to 'settings' tab</td> </tr> <tr bgcolor=#F0F0F0> <td valign=top nowrap><p><b>'action'</b></td> <td><p>MP4Cam2AVI has three modes: <p>1. <b>Many MP4 (MOV) -> One AVI</b> (convert & join to one avi) <p>2. <b>Many MP4 (MOV) -> Many AVI</b> (batch convert each name.mp4 to name.avi) <p>3. <b>Many AVI -> Change FourCC</b> (batch FourCC change) </td> </tr> <tr> <td valign=top nowrap><p><b>'use advanced settings'</b></td> <td><p>Check this option to configure additional settings (FourCC manual set, audio processing options and some other). When unchecked, advanced options will be ignored. This option is always unchecked by default.</td> </tr> <tr bgcolor=#F0F0F0> <td valign=top nowrap><p><b>'audio format'</b></td> <td><p>Set desired audio format: <p>'Source audio' - audio is not recompressed, but be careful with AAC input sound - target avi files may not be compatible with hardware DVD-MPEG4 players and video editing software. This option won't work with some cameras, use it for preview only. <p>To edit avi files with avi editing apps, use <b>PCM</b> audio option, for playback on PC or DVD-MPEG4 players use <b>MP3</b>, <b>High quality</b> is recommended. </td> </tr> <tr> <td valign=top nowrap><p><b>'avi size limit'</b></td> <td><p>Maximum target avi size (for 'Many -> One' mode only). AVI file can't be larger than 2Gb (format limitation), but some DVD-MPEG4 players don't understand avi files larger than 1Gb, so 1Gb value is set by default. <p>When this limit exceeds, MP4Cam2AVI creates next fragment automatically (i.e. OutFileName01.avi, OutFileName02.avi etc.)⌨️ 快捷键说明
