Any conflict between therequirements described here and the ISO C standard is unintentional. This volume of IEEE Std 1003.1-2001 defers tothe ISO C standard. <img src="../images/opt-end.gif" alt="[Option End]" border="0"></div><p>The <i>wcscat</i>() function shall append a copy of the wide-character string pointed to by <i>ws2</i> (including theterminating null wide-character code) to the end of the wide-character string pointed to by <i>ws1</i>. The initial wide-charactercode of <i>ws2</i> shall overwrite the null wide-character code at the end of <i>ws1</i>.
