We are currently researching for our thesis which is basically an Electronic Faculty Locator Chart. We have considered using RFID technology for the realization of the system. Since it is a thesis, we have to build the whole system from our own design. Components could be bought but it is up to us to integrate the whole system.<p>Question1: What are the good frequencies to work on for reader signal transmission to the "Teacher tags" and the return frequency of the tags themselves?<p>Question2: Are there available RF IC's in the market so that we could make our system very compact and low in power consumption?<p>That's it.
