I am currently in my final<br>year of study and have a project related to RF-ID tags.<p>For my project I need to maximise the transmission range of<br>an RFID tag operating at 13.56MHz. I am writing to you to<br>ask what different antenna types your company uses for<br>different applications at this operating frequency.<p>The major problem I have had is designing an antenna which<br>is small enough. At the operating frequency stated the<br>wavelength comes to over 22m, which means for greater<br>antenna efficiency a relatively large antenna is needed.<p>I was considering using a small ferrite-loop antenna. Does<br>your company use ferrite antennas for transmission to tags?<p>For my project I am considering using an array of 2 or three<br>antenna elements to increase the directive gain of the<br>antenna to a certain direction of approach.
