INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS:

Installation requires a minimum of 64 MB of RAM and a screen
resolution of 640 x 480 at 8 bits (256 colors). Java 1.1.8 or
greater (or Microsoft VM 3167 or later) must also already be
installed on your system.

If you do not already have Java installed on your system, please
download and install it from the official Java website:

   http://java.com

This installation has been verified to run on Windows (98, NT, XP,
2000), Mac OS-X (Panther), and Red Hat Linux; though it should run
on virtually any version of Windows (95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, XP,
Server 2003), Mac OS-X, Solaris, Linux, AIX, HP-UX, Tru64, BSD,
IRIX, NetWare, z/OS, OS/390; or virtually any other system, provided
that it has a Java Virtual Machine available (version 1.1.8 or later).

PLATFORM SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS:

Windows:

   Double click on 'Setup.exe' located in the same folder as 
   this README file. 

   Follow the installation instructions presented on your screen.


Mac OS-X:

   Double click on 'MacOS_Setup' located in the same folder as 
   this README file. 

   Follow the installation instructions presented on your screen.


UNIX, Linux:

   Open a terminal window and cd to the directory containing this
   README file.

   Run the command "sh ./UNIX_Setup.sh".

   Follow the installation instructions presented on your screen.


All other platforms:

   Launch the Java Runtime Environment with the application file
   'install.jar'.  E.g.  "java -jar ./install.jar"

   Follow the installation instructions presented on your screen.
