SUMMARY:
Generate a synthetic time series for testing.
FuncGen IMPULSE DELTA delta NPTS npts 

INPUT:
	IMPULSE	Generate a time series with a single point with amplitude
		equal to 1.0/delta, where delta is the smapling interval in
		seconds. The impulse is centered at npts/2, and the B header
		value is set as - (npts/2)*delta 
	DELTA	Sample interval in seconds
	NPTS	Number of points in the time series
DESCRIPTION:
     This generates a synthetic time series. At present only an impulse
is supported. The internal file name is 'impulse.sac' Since this command will 
increase the number of files in memory, a second call will this create two
files with the name 'impulse.sac' and a WRITE will actually only leave one
visible in the file system, since only the lst write is preserved.

SAC COMPATIBILITY:
     Only IMPULSE is implemented. By default SAC creates this with
DELTA = 1 sec, NPTS = 100 and with the maximum amplitude = 1. GSAC
creates this single point representation of an impulse with a maximum
amplitude = 1/delta so that the Fourier spectrum level at zero
frequency = 1.0  This is done to permit an easy view of the instrument response:
