GSAC Command Reference Manual CUTERRSUMMARY:Rotates a pair of horizontal component traces through an angleROTate [to GC] [TO ang]INPUT: TO GC Rotate to form radial and transverse components Rename KCMPNM to have the replace the last character TO ang Rotate to form components on motion in the ANG and and ANG+90 degrees. Rename the componentsDESCRIPTION: Two horizontal components are rotated to form two new horizontal components. For this to occur the components must have CMPINC=90 and the CMPAZ different, but not necessarily 90 degrees apart. In distinction with SAC, the component names are changed and the internal version of the files names are changed. Also if the start and end times of rhte two traces are different, only the overlapping time window is used. Example: GSAC> READ STA.N STA.E GSAC> ROT TO GC GSAC> W will write the files STA.R (with KCMPNM=BHR) and STA.T (with KSTNM=BHT) if the original KSTNM values were BHN and BHE, respectively Note the O, A and T0 header values are preserved from the first waveform read into memorySAC COMPATIBILITY: This automatic renaming of KCMNM and FILE NAME and cutting is not in the original SACSEE ALSO:
