This directory contains the final cleaned version of
simulps version 14 which has 2 different 3D ray tracers 
implemented. 
compile the source with f77 -lV77 -lm (at least on Sun running Solaris 2.x)

The source code consists of the files 
 simulps14.for  
 simulps14_common.inc
 rayparax_common.inc
simulps14 is a compiled version 

Readme_sim14.* is a short readme and guide to the use of Simulps with RKP ray tracing, 
eiter as PostScript (.ps) or PDF (.pdf) file.
DissPart.* is an excerpt of the Ph.D of F. Haslinger which describes RKP ray tracing.

Testcase contains one example run of a tomographic inversion using RKP ray tracing.
The synthetic model used to create the data is the same as in the Ph.D of F. Haslinger.
The inversion is here run with one iteration only!

Testcase/V_inmod.ps is a plot of the synthetic model relative to the reference velocity model 
(which is also used as initial start model for the inversion).
