tout minutes
.SH DESCRIPTION
Calling
.I tout
specifies an idle-time limit for the particular
login session.  The user is warned one minute before
timeout (at which point he could hit RETURN at the keyboard
and reset his idle time).  When the timeout time is reached, all
of the foreground processes are sent HANGUP signals, and he is logged
out.  If the user logged out normally,
.I tout
will disappear within one minute.
.SH EXAMPLE
tout 20
.SP
This means that the current login session will end automatically
if the keyboard is inactive for 20 minutes.

user invokes a new shell with a different user id,
