To install the VMELinux VMEShell scripts into /usr/local/bin:

1) verify you are in the vmeshell directory
   cd /vmelinux-X.XX/vmeshell/

2) type "./makelinks"

This will create appropriate links in the /usr/local/bin directory
so any user can access the VMEbus.
