{pstd}
{cmd:set varwindow} sets the precedence behavior for the Variables window.
{cmd:set revwindow} sets the precedence behavior for the Review window.
These commands apply only to Macintosh computers.

{pstd}
{cmd:float} indicates that the window always is to stay in front,
while {cmd:nofloat} indicates that the window may be placed behind other
windows.  Stata must be restarted for the setting to take effect.

{cmd:permanently} specifies that, in addition to making the change right now,
the setting be remembered and become the default setting when you invoke Stata.
{cmd:permanently} is required.
