{cmd:set varlabelpos} sets the maximum number of characters to display for
variable names in the Variables window.  The display of the variable labels is
correspondingly adjusted in the Variables window to align a few spaces beyond
this maximum value.  The default value of {cmd:varlabelpos} is 32 and can be
set to values from 8 to 32.
