{opt over}{cmd:(}{it:varlist} [{cmd:,} {opt nolab:el}]{cmd:)}
specifies that estimates be computed for multiple subpopulations.
{pmore}
The subpopulations are identified by the different values of the variables
in {it:varlist}.
{pmore}
When supplied with a single variable name, such as {opt over(varname)}, the
value labels of {it:varname} are used to identify the subpopulations.
If {it:varname} does not have labeled values (or there are unlabeled values),
the values themselves are used, provided they are non-negative integers.
Non-integer values, negative values, and labels that are not valid Stata names
will be substituted with a default identifier.
{pmore}
When supplied with multiple variable names, a subpopulation index (starting at
1) is used to identify subpopulations. In this case, the index is listed
with the values that identify the subpopulations.
{phang2}
{opt nolabel} requests that value labels attached to the variables identifying
the subpopulations be ignored.
