The {cmd:cluster centroidlinkage} command performs hierarchical agglomerative
centroid linkage cluster analysis. See {bf:{help cluster}} for a listing of
the {cmd:cluster} commands.

linkage cluster analysis on the dissimilarity matrix {it:matname}; see

Centroid linkage can produce reversals or crossovers. When reversals happen,
{cmd:cluster centroidlinkage} also creates a fourth variable with the suffix
{hi:_pht}. This is a pseudoheight variable that is used by some of the
postclustering commands to properly interpret the {hi:_hgt} variable.
