A gauge monitor sends notifications as follows: <UL> <LI> if the attribute value is increasing and becomes equal to or greater than the high threshold value, a <A HREF="../../../javax/management/monitor/MonitorNotification.html#THRESHOLD_HIGH_VALUE_EXCEEDED"><CODE>threshold high notification</CODE></A> is sent.
