Advertising is a key growth business for Microsoft. The adCenter team is building the engines to leverage the opportunities in advertising. We are looking for a Program Manager to own our creative asset management and ad builder capabilities. You will need to design features that scale massively yet are the most accurate in the industry. This is your chance to influence advertising to become richer and more relevant for our users. 

We are looking for a strong program manager to drive new revenue opportunities, increase the performance and scalability of our existing advertising products and excel in partner management. You may partner with Microsoft/MSN properties, XBOX and other external groups to adopt our technologies, providing subject matter expertise on the ads platform and related technologies. This position requires technical expertise, a strong design background and focus on internet application development.

Qualifications:
Interested? You must have experience as a successful program manager going through at least one full product development cycle. Strong analytical skills, ability to negotiate with external teams, strong customer orientation, and a passion for building web-based services are important for success. You must have experience building and/or designing very large scale systems. You also a must have great communication, time management, and team interaction skills. You should be able to write quality specs, understand design-related issues (especially those that relate to new features), and manage your own feature areas to completion across multiple releases. You should be able to make trade-offs, to negotiate, and to build consensus, all while keeping the project goals in mind. Candidates with experience in Internet application development, networking, SQL, IIS, XML, Internet technologies, and knowledge of online advertising be incredibly valuable. A BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline and business knowledge preferred.
