IT Security management is already a multi-billion dollar industry and Microsoft is now positioning itself to be a major player in this space. The Forefront System team at Microsoft has made a strategic bet to provide a new security management solution for IT organizations ranging from the 500-person organization up to the largest enterprises and governments. A key value add of this product, codenamed Stirling, is integration across multiple security technologies, and to effectively do that, we need a seasoned user experience program manager who can enable IT administrators to easily manage security policy and understand the security state of their organization, historical trends, identify what actions needed to be taken and the impact of those actions. 

As a Program Manager on Stirling you will be responsible for working closely with internal partners, identifying requirements, driving product design, authoring UI feature specifications, and making the tough calls that it takes to ship the highest quality product. This is a highly challenging position with a great deal of interaction with the architects, developers, testers. You will polish your skills on driving design of a new product, and you will master your cross-group skills and product shipping skills. 

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have significant experience in driving design, implementation and shipping of complex commercial software (preferably in the server space) for at least for one complete cycle. Equally important are exceptional analytical skills, a strong technical background in enterprise management, UX design expertise, as well as proven collaboration and communication skills and experience in cross-group feature delivery. The ideal candidate needs to have at least 4 years experience as PM in a product team at Microsoft and BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Deep understanding of security area is a plus.
